* The Association of Non-Indigenes in Anambra State has expressed profound gratitude to Governor Chukwuma Soludo
for his administration inclusive policies and remarkable achievements.

Speaking to journalists in Awka, the President of Non – Indigenes Prince Chigozie Nweke stated that Governor Soludo has demonstrated exceptional leadership by appointing non-indigenes to key positions in his government.

According to Nweke, Soludo’s government has also ensured fair representation in employment opportunities, benefiting both indigenes and non-indigenes alike.

The president explained that a major highlight of his administration was the recruitment of over 7,000 teachers, a process that was merit-based and inclusive of non-indigenes. Moreso, the recent employment drive at Ocha Brigade further reflects his commitment to equity and fairness. His scholarship initiative for Senior Secondary 3 (SS3) students has also brought relief to many families, giving non-indigenous students access to quality education.

* Tansian University, Umunya in Anambra State has once again benefited from the generosity of the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate Mr. Peter Obi who donated ₦10 million to the institution’s College of Nursing at Oba.

During his visit, Obi reiterated that education, healthcare, and poverty alleviation are crucial pillars for Nigeria’s development.

emphasised that nations that have made significant progress did so by investing in human capital development through quality education.

He urged Nigerian leaders to make these sectors priorities, stressing that education remains the most effective tool for breaking the cycle of poverty.

* The National Chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Alhaji Yusuf Dantalle, has described Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State as a “wizard” following his impressive performance in office.

Dantalle made the remark during a visit to Anambra State to inspect some of the projects executed by the Soludo administration. He was visibly impressed by the level of development in the state, saying “Governor Soludo is a wizard!”

The IPAC chairman’s visit coincided with Governor Soludo’s third anniversary in office, which has been marked by significant strides in infrastructure development, healthcare, education, and entrepreneurship.

* Commissioner for Information, Chief. Law Mefor has received some members of Anambra Deserves Soludo Solution, led by Dr. Jude Emecheta, in his office at the Jerome Udeorji Secretariat, Awka.

Mefor in his address, noted that Anambra indeed deserves Soludo, who has prudently managed the resources of Ndị Anambra and advised opposition parties in the state to adopt Soludo for the November 8, 2025 election, to avoid wasting money.

In his remarks, the leader of the team, Dr Jude Emecheta, explained that the aim of the visit was to brief the commissioner on their activities, adding that they are embarking on a tour of Soludo’s projects across the state to inform Ndi Anambra about the governor’s developmental strides.

The highlight of the visit was the presentation of the group’s cap to the commissioner, who was adopted as an ambassador of the group.

* A leading contender for the Labour Party ticket ahead of the Anambra Guber Election, Mr John Nwosu, has told members of the Obidient Movement that their full commitment is needed as members ahead of the November Election, warning that they either stay in or out.

Obedient Movement is a group of Nigerians at home and in diaspora who believe in the ideals of Mr Peter Obi, the party’s Presidential Standard Bearer in the 2023 Elections.

Addressing the Obidient Movement in Awka, Nwosu said he had hoped to meet with them earlier but wanted to be sure that those who were Dis-Obidient were no longer with them.

He enjoined them to come together in the fight to salvage Anambra, noting that Anambra State, under Soludo had become an eyesore, as well as insecure.

* The Traditional ruler of Nawfia community in Njikoka LGA of Anambra State, His Royal Highness (HRH), Igwe Ogochukwu Daniel Obelle has described the transformation policy of Governor Chukwuma Soludo within three years in office, as “a remarkable one”.

The Monarch gave the commendation at his Palace while celebrating his three years coronation anniversary as the traditional ruler of Nawfia community.

Obelle said what governor Soludo has done has never happened in the history of the State since its creation on August 27th, 1991.

According to the Monarch, the developmental strides of Soludo in three years of his administration is worthy of praise and emulation.

* The Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCAN) on Saturday, 15th March, 2025 inducted 125 graduates of the Faculty of Medicine, College of Health Sciences, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, into the medical profession.

The 54th induction and oath taking ceremony was held at the MOP Quadrangle, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital Permanent Site, Akamili Umudim, Nnewi.

In his remarks during the induction ceremony, Dr. Fatima Kyari, Registrar of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCAN), eulogized the management of the institution under the leadership of the Acting Vice -Chancellor, Prof. Joseph I. Ikechebelu for maintaining academic excellence.

Dr. Kyari who was represented by the Assistant Registrar, Dr. Tijjani Mandaka, commended lecturers and technologists for maintaining the standards of the profession by contributing to the inductees’ academic pursuit and professional training.

* The Nigeria Union of Teachers, NUT, Anambra State Wing, has donated various novels numbering over 1,000, to Public-Public Primary and Secondary Schools in the state to support the Education policy initiative of Prof Chukwuma Soludo’s administration.

Speaking while presenting the novels to the state’s Post Primary School Services Commission, PPSSC, and the Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board, ASUBEB, the Anambra NUT Chairman, Comrade Chika Grace Chukwudozie, commended Governor Soludo for transforming the education landscape in the state by the employment of 8,115 teachers, free education from nursery to senior secondary school level, among others.

She however, regretted that most students nowadays could not stay down to study their books, but devoted much of their time to phones.

* Valentine Ozigbo, respected business mogul and leading Anambra gubernatorial hopeful on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APC, has boosted the morale of the party in Anambra State, as he graced the historic homecoming event held in Nnobi, Idemili South LGA.

The event, which welcomed stakeholders, returning party members, and new entrants, marked a strategic step in consolidating APC’s growing grassroots support in the region.

Speaking at the gathering, Ozigbo commended the party leadership for fostering an environment of inclusivity and expansion, highlighting the importance of unity as APC gains momentum in Anambra.

* The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Anambra State, has extended heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, OFR, on his third anniversary as the Executive Governor of Anambra State.

The commendation highlights his visionary leadership and the remarkable strides his administration has made in the development of the state.

In a letter signed by Mrs. Blessing Ekene Iruma, the NYSC State Coordinator, the Corps praised Governor Soludo’s unwavering commitment to improving infrastructure, fostering innovation, and promoting economic growth.
