Ayden Heaven breaks silence as he provides updates on his condition

Manchester United youngster Ayden Heaven provided updates on his condition while replying to the supporters’ messages.

The 18-year-old joined the Red Devils in January, making the move from Arsenal. Due to a series of injuries, Ruben Amorim found himself forced to thrust the teenager into action rather swiftly.

As fate would have it, his Premier League debut ensued against the Gunners, as he came in as a second-half substitute. The defender made a solid impression, thus encouraging the manager to hand his full debut in the second leg of the Europa League Round of 16 against Real Sociedad.

This was followed by his first appearance as a starter in the Premier League which took place last Sunday at King Power. Heaven performed admirably in the first half, and even made a brilliant intervention shortly before Rasmus Hojlund’s opener.

But sadly for the young defender, his night was cut short by what seemed to be a serious knee injury early in the second half. After the contest, Amorim failed to provide a reassuring update on the player, stating the latter wasn’t able to express himself, making it difficult to understand the extent of the knock.

Nevertheless, Manchester Evening News journalist Tyrone Marshall offered a positive insight, revealing that Heaven was spotted leaving the stadium unassisted, albeit he had to don a protective boot.

But after almost 48 hours of silence, the youngster made his first statement, thanking the fans for their support while offering encouraging updates.

“Thank you guys for all the support,” reads the story posted by the Man Utd new signing on his Instagram account.

“I have read all of your messages, and I’m doing really well and recovering fast,” reassured the defender.

Hence, the Man Utd supporters will be hoping to see their new darling back in action as soon as possible.
