Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa laments killings in Edo State ahead of Eid al-Fitr.
The murder of 16 northern travelers by a mob in Uromi, Edo State, while they were traveling from Port Harcourt in Rivers State to Kano State, has sparked outrage.
According to other sources, the victims were hunters making their way back home for the festival of Sallah.
Following his condemnation of the hunters’ murder, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ordered the state’s security forces to pursue and apprehend the murderers, stating that a comprehensive inquiry should be carried out and those responsible held accountable.
