* The Chairman and Managing Director of JEZCO Group of companies, Dr Joseph Ezeokafor expressed satisfaction with the quality of work done by Governor Chukwuma Soludo.

Ezeokafor speaking when he inspected the New Government House and Governor’s Lodge and the Solution Fun City in Awka which are nearing completion, described Soludo as a quintessential leader for his approach to quality governance and restoring people’s confidence in government.

Dr Ezeokafor called on ndi Anambra to reward Governor Soludo for all his efforts to transform the State by giving him another mandate in the forthcoming November 8th gubernatorial election.

* The Chairman New Motor Spare Parts Dealers Upper Iweka Mr. Ozulue Okechukwu says for the governor of Anambra state Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo to secure notorious Upper Iweka and it’s environs from armed rubbery, taunting and other criminalities, he has no opposition in his second term bid.

According to the market leader, upper Iweka as we all know was a den of all forms of criminalities but today the Talk and Do governor has fish out all these criminals and people now move about in upper Iweka even in night without any molestation of any kind.

* Governor Chukwuma Soludo has conveyed his most heartfelt congratulations to Most Rev. Paulinus Chukwuemeka Ezeokafor on the auspicious occasion of his 18th Episcopal Consecration Anniversary as the Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese.

In his goodwill message, Governor extols Bishop Ezeokafor for having shepherded the Catholic faithful in Awka Diocese with exceptional dedication, steadfast faith, and profound wisdom for the past remarkable eighteen years.

Soludo stated that the esteemed cleric’s passionate leadership has not only strengthened the spiritual fabric of Anambra State but has also contributed immensely to its social and moral development.

The Governor particularly commends Bishop Ezeokafor’s tireless efforts in youth empowerment, promotion of Christian values, and humanitarian service to the less privileged.

The Governor prayed that God to grants the bishop continued strength, wisdom, and good health as his ministry continues to flourish and bring forth abundant fruits for the glory of God and the benefit of humanity.

* The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Anambra Sector Command regrets to announce a fatal crash that occurred on April 27, 2025, at approximately 9:00 PM along the Nteje-Awka route, near the New Terminal close to Ukpo Junction.

According to eyewitness accounts and preliminary investigations, a Mack tanker without a registration number collided with a Toyota Hiace bus, registered as EKP375XM.

Anambra FRSC Spokesperson, RC Margaret Onabe, through a press statement, noted that the bus, which was traveling from Abakaliki to Onitsha, was speeding and overtook dangerously before colliding with the tanker, which was heading towards Awka on a single carriageway.

The crash resulted in eight fatalities four males and four females and injured six others, comprising two males and four females.

* Chairman, Anambra State Civil Service Commission, Anambra State, Tony Ezenwaka has stated that Governor Chukwuma Soludo led administration is committed to workers welfare.

Ezenwaka spoke when the Anambra State Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress,NLC, Comrade Humphrey Emeka Nwafor paid him a solidarity visit.

Ezenwaka, a union leader and former Permanent Secretary in the Anambra State Civil Service, appealed to workers to support the Soludo’s administration to serve the state better.

* The President General of Ekwulobia, Chief Azubuike Ezechukwu and the deputy Mayor of Aguata local government area, Mr Kingsley Ezeagu, has thanked Governor Soludo for keeping to his campaign promise of making Anambra State the Dubai-Taiwan of Africa and described him as a good manager of both human and material resources.

They made the commendation after the

The team also visited the Solution Modern market and Bus terminal, ongoing shopping Mall and the ultramodern fly over as well as the gully erosion control project at Ekwulobia being executed by the Soludo administration.

* Youths in Ihiala LGA of Anambra State have unanimously decided to take their destinies in their own hands to emancipate themselves from the outright neglect and abandonment of political office holders in the council area.

This was the crux of the matter at the maiden Ihiala youth summit held at Kojack Hotel Okija where youngsters in their numbers bemoaned the fact that those at the corridors of power have forgotten them completely leaving them to mourn their fate in the most excruciating manner.

The youths who blamed political leaders for the blight cast on the council area, maintained that most of the people occupying elective offices in Ihiala Local Government Area would not be reelected because they believe that the crop of politicians do not represent the generality of the masses but their own individual selfish interests.

The summit therefore insisted that Ihiala youths must be freed from intimidations, suppressions, subjugations, unemployment and a host of other perennial problems militating against youth development in Ihiala Local Government Area.

* The Spiritual Director of the Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry, Uke, and Parish Priest of Blessed Iwene Tansi Pilgrimage Center, Umudioka, both in Anambra State, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obimma, has described the governorship candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the November 8 election in the State, Chief Dr. George Moghalu, as a man of simplicity of heart, who places God above every other consideration in his undertakings.

Fr. Obimma, popularly known as Fr. Ebube Muonso, made the assertion on Sunday, April 27, when the Labour Party candidate came to the Blessed Iwene Tansi Parish, Umudioka, for a thanksgiving to God for his emergence as candidate after the party’s primary election held on April 5 this year.

Fr. Ebube Muonso compared Muoghalu to President Donald Trump of the United States of America, who the priest said, places God first all through his political endeavours.

* Stakeholders from Aguata LGA in Anambra South Senatorial District, vowed to reject any monetary inducements capable of making them to vote against the incumbent Governor Chukwuma Soludo of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA).

The Council Area which is where Soludo, the APGA candidate for the November 8 gubernatorial poll hails from, rejected Hon. Nicholas Ukachukwu of All Progressives Congress (APC), insisting that other candidates for the election were not qualified to receive a single vote within the LGA because Soludos achievements were unprecedented.

The stakeholders, who included the captain of industries, traditional rulers, youth, women, politicians and apolitical statesmen, spoke at the end of facility tour of key infrastructural projects executed by Governor Soludo in Awka and Ekwulobia, however, urged voters to collect money or whatever gifts to be offered by the politicians but never allow such to influence their voting decisions.
