The Chairman of the Anambra State Football Association (FA), Chikelue Iloenyosi has presented a gift of twenty five soccer balls to Nasarawa Amazons l.
Angel Network News (ANN) reports that
Iloenyosi popularly known as “The General” presented the balls after Nasarawa Amazons stunned the highly-favored Bayelsa Queens with a 2-1 victory at the Round of 16 clash in the 2025 President Federation Cup in Awka Township Stadium, Anambra State.
“This is a token of encouragement for a team that showed real character and unity on the pitch.
“We are proud to host them in Anambra, and we want them to know they have our support going forward.” the former Super Eagles player said.
Chairperson of Nasarawa Amazons, Hajiya Hussaina Nagogo who was delighted, expressing sincere appreciation for both the warm hospitality and the symbolic gesture.
“This kind of support motivates us even more. We truly felt at home here in Awka, and this gift from Chairman Iloenyosi means a great deal to the entire team.”
