Ruben Amorim tells Garnacho to leave Man United

David Ornstein revealed the futures of Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim and his star player, Alejandro Garnacho.

Both men have been under great scrutiny as of late, especially following the outcome of the Europa League final against Spurs.

The Portuguese manager was criticised for his choices, which includes fielding Luke Shaw and Mason Mount who only recently returned from long layoffs, playing Casemiro as the solitary holding midfielder, and most importantly, leaving Garnacho on the bench until the 71st minute despite trailing since the first half.

Therefore, the 40-year-old insisted he’s willing to peacefully walk away if the management no longer wants him at the club.

As for Garnacho, he was simply disgruntled with his status at the club, especially after being fielded as a starter on most occasions in recent months, only to be dropped in the biggest match of the season.

Therefore, the situation between the two men has reached a head, and there is only room for one at Carrington.

In his latest update for The Athletic, Ornstein revealed that Man United have decided to stick with Amorim for next season.

Moreover, the manager’s first piece of business following his confirmation was to tell the Argentinian winger to find himself a new club, as he’s no longer wanted at his court.
