Anambra State Local Government Service Commission has received FreeNews Magazine Prestigious Institutional Honours Award.

the Chairman of the commission, Chief Vin Ifeanyi Ezeaka simultaneously bags FreeNews Magazine Public Service Award.
The service commission and its chairman were honoured with double awards by FreeNews Magazine, published by Obev Industries Limited (a Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria based mass communication firm).
Speaking during the presentation of the Awards in Awka recently, the chairman of FreeNews Magazine Editorial Board, Mr Obinna Christopher Evaristus Mbonu said
the Editorial Board of the media organization decided to examine the impacts of ministries, departments and agencies of Anambra State Government since the inception of Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration.
” We carried out on the field editorial study of ministries, departments and agencies of Anambra State Government.
“The essence is among many reasons, to find out good performing, very good performing, and excellent performing ministries, departments and agencies that have been driving the Visions, the Mission, and the Mandate of Governor Chukwuma Soludo to developmental solutions success.
“The result of our editorial investigations revealed that Anambra State Local Government Service Commission has done very well, and has continued to do well.
“It is important to state that in the course of our editorial research on the impacts of the commission to development of Anambra State, we in the Editorial Board of FreeNews Magazine discovered 41 benefits that the commission has been a very good blessing to Anambra State people.
“It was actually as a result of this discovery that we decided to honour Anambra State Local Government Service Commission with FreeNews Magazine Prestigious Institutional Honours Award titled “41 Anambra State Local Government Service Commission Essential Values”. This particular award is meant for the commission”.
Mr. Obinna Mbonu also revealed that the Chairman of the commission, Chief Vin Ifeanyi Ezeaka ( Esq) was honoured with FreeNews Magazine Prestigious Personality Award as “Senior Ambassador And Good Local Government Administration”
According to Mr. Mbonu, “We decided to honour the Chairman of Anambra State Local Government Service Commission, Chief Vin Ifeanyi Ezeaka ( Esq) as an individual public servant because he has performed his duty beyond the call of duty
“That Anambra State Local Government Service Commission is successfully progressive today is because of his good leadership, patriotism, professionalism, and ability towards implementation of The Visions, The Mission and The Mandate The Mandate of the executive governor of Anambra State, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo ( CFR)”.
Receiving the double awards, the chairman of the commission, Chief Vin Ifeanyi Ezeaka said that Anambra State Local Government Service Commission under his leadership decided to carry out effective and efficient local government areas reforms in order to achieve good service delivery and good governance.
Ezeaka thanked Mbonu and other members of the Editorial Board of FreeNews Magazine for the honour bestowed on him ,and the commission.
Other members of the commission who witnessed the double awards presentation are: Hon Azubuike O Okoye (commissioner in the commission), and Hon Barrister Mrs Anthonia Tabansi-Okoye.Significantly present during the presentation is the secretary of the commission.
