Ononiba Launches Deworming Campaign For Children In Njikoka LGA

The Chairman of Njikoka Local Government Council, Barr. Chinedu Ononiba, has officially received 237 tins of Albendazole 400mg tablets for distribution across all 18 wards in the LGA.
Angel Network News (ANN) reports that
the tablets were formally presented by Hon. Afoma Okpala, the Supervisor Councillor for Health.
In her speech, Hon. Okpala said while the Anambra State Government, under the leadership of Governor Chukwuma Soludo supplied Vitamin A to support the health needs of Ndi Njikoka, the Albendazole tablets were personally procured by Barr. Ononiba as part of his proactive commitment to child healthcare I’m Njikoka.
Okpala emphasized that the Mayor’s passion for children’s well-being inspired the deworming initiative.
During the handover, the Mayor expressed profound appreciation to Governor Soludo for his remarkable transformation of the health sector in Anambra State.
Ononiba affirmed that Njikoka would continue to key into all government-led developmental projects, particularly those targeted at the grassroots.
The Local Government boss also used the opportunity to assure Governor Soludo of the unwavering support of the people of Njikoka, declaring that their votes for his second term are “non-negotiable.”
The wife of the Mayor, Mrs. Pamela Ononiba, Supervisor Councillor for Health, Hon. Afoma Okpala, Leader of the Njikoka Congress of Councillors, Hon. Obinna Okafor, Hon. Adaobi Nweke, Hon. Ifeanyi Aghamba, Hon. Anthony Otue, Hon. Chika Okogba, Hon. Ifeanyi Dominic Okeke were all present at the presentation.
