the training, which began on Friday, is being conducted simultaneously across all 21 local government areas of the state. According to officials, the training covers key aspects of the CVR exercise, including the use of biometric data capture devices, voter data management, and adherence to electoral guidelines and protocols.

The corps members, who are expected to play a vital role in the registration process, have shown enthusiasm and commitment to ensuring a smooth and credible exercise.

“The involvement of corps members has always been instrumental in the success of our electoral processes. This training is to ensure they are well-prepared and confident in their roles.” an INEC official in Awka South LGA noted,

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) State Coordinator, Mrs. Pauline Ojiswa, commended the corps members for their dedication and urged them to uphold the values of integrity, neutrality, and professionalism throughout the exercise.
