“Mohbad’s Justice Was a Target”: VeryDarkMan Alleges WhatsApp Conspiracy Involving Iyabo Ojo, Samklef

Social media firebrand and activist, VeryDarkMan, has reignited online outrage with bold claims that celebrities Iyabo Ojo and Samklef were members of a secret WhatsApp group formed to sabotage justice for the late singer, Mohbad.

In a now-viral video posted on Friday, the controversial influencer alleged that several prominent figures, particularly in Nollywood and the entertainment industry, used their platforms to mislead the public during the heated #JusticeForMohbad campaign.

“These people weren’t just loud, they were deliberate. There was a group — a WhatsApp group — and yes, names like Iyabo Ojo and Samklef were in it. They wanted to control the narrative. Justice was never their goal,” VeryDarkMan declared.

The accusations have sparked fresh tensions online, especially as Mohbad’s death remains emotionally charged among Nigerians, with unresolved questions surrounding the circumstances of his untimely passing.

Attempts to reach Iyabo Ojo and Samklef for comment have not yielded official responses as of press time, though both have previously denied any wrongdoing or manipulation in the case.

VeryDarkMan, known for his no-holds-barred criticism of public figures, insists that the so-called “activism” shown by some celebrities was strategic, performative, and ultimately deceptive.

Public Reacts: “Truth or Clout?”

The bombshell allegation has split social media once again. While some netizens applaud VeryDarkMan for his boldness, others question the timing and lack of hard evidence.

If there’s a WhatsApp group, show us screenshots,” one X user fired back.

“Iyabo Ojo went above and beyond for Mohbad. This is pure defamation,” another added.

Still, supporters of VeryDarkMan argue that these revelations expose the “showbiz of sorrow” that follows high-profile tragedies in Nigeria.

Mohbad: The Ghost Still Haunting

Mohbad, born Ilerioluwa Aloba, died under controversial circumstances in September 2023. His death unleashed a nationwide outcry, leading to protests, police investigations, and heated debates across media channels.

As the dust refuses to settle, this latest twist from VeryDarkMan has reopened deep wounds and may once again thrust the case back into the national spotlight.
