Anambra Teqball Team Set For World Qualifiers

The Anambra State Teqball Association has confirmed its participation in the upcoming Teqball World Qualifiers, scheduled to take place from September 10–13, 2025, in Aba, Abia State.
Angel Network News (ANN) reports that
this decision was reached during the Association’s executive meeting held in Awka.
In a communiqué issued after the meeting, signed by the Chairman, Chief Edwin Umeanozie and Media Officer, Mr. Cyril Nwoye, the body expressed appreciation to Governor Chukwuma Soludo, for his commitment to sports development, as well as to the Chairman of the Anambra State Sports Development Commission, Chief Estate Onyedum, for his steadfast support towards the growth of Teqball in the state.
As part of preparations for the qualifiers, selection trials for the state contingent will begin on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Awka City Stadium, starting at 9:00 am.
The next executive meeting of the Association is scheduled for Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 11:00 am in Awka.
The Association urged all stakeholders, players, and Teqball enthusiasts to rally behind the team to ensure a strong showing at the qualifiers.
