Nollywood actor Yhemo Lee has criticised an unnamed air hostess for what he described as an unfriendly and “strong” facial expression during a local flight.
In an Instagram post, Lee questioned how someone who “should be a conductor or drive a tricycle” got employed as an air hostess, claiming she barely smiled and addressed passengers with a harsh tone.
“If she’s depressed and going through stuff, let her sit down at home. I can’t pay half a million for a local flight and be treated like I’m the problem,” he wrote, stressing that tone and mood are key in customer service.
Lee compared the encounter with other flights where hostesses politely and warmly request passengers to comply with safety instructions, saying it “makes you want to cooperate.”
