In another development, the Anambra State Police Command, through its operatives attached to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Awka, on the evening of 22nd August 2025, received a suspected illegal Chinese miner from operatives of the Operation Clean and Healthy Anambra (OCHA Brigade).
The suspect, identified as Mu Hua Qiang, 45 years old, a resident of Aguleri, was arrested for his alleged involvement in illegal mining operations within the Aguleri axis. His statement has been voluntarily obtained, and he has been placed in lawful custody for further investigation.
