Importers Accuse Dangote of Selling Petrol to Togo at ₦65 Discount

Some Nigerian fuel importers claim that the Dangote Refinery is selling a litre of petrol to international traders at ₦65 cheaper than to domestic buyers.
According to their allegations, this practice gives importers sourcing petrol via the neighbouring country of Togo a cost advantage over local wholesalers.
The Dangote refinery has reportedly denied the claim, while also announcing plans to reduce prices to ₦820 per litre and introduce Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) transport trucks to streamline fuel distribution.
