When Will FG Release Names of Terrorist Sponsors? – Dalung Queries

The Member Representing Nnewi North Constituency at the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Augustine Onyekachukwu Ike, has charged Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State to provide details of how he (Hon. Ike) collected N50 million from the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu.
Hon. Ike was reacting to the post made by Governor Soludo’s on Facebook alleging that the lawmaker and three others were bought by Prince Ukachukwu “at N50 million per head”.
Governor Soludo made the allegation after four serving state lawmakers openly declared support for Ukachukwu during the inauguration of the Anambra APC governorship election campaign council.

Soludo also claimed that Ike, lately, demanded for funds but was denied, hence his reason for supporting another party.
He added that the lawmakers were paid N30 million upfront and are waiting for a balance of N20 million after November 8.
Writing through his social media mouthpiece, Amb Adichie Izuchukwu, Soludo said in a piece entitled “Certificate Forger & Land Grabber Nicholas Ukachukwu Bought Four State Assembly Members for 50M Per Head“:
“Nicholas Ukachukwu, a man infamous for unpaid debts, land grabbing, and certificate forgery, has bought four (4) House of Assembly Members at N50 million per head.
“Since being rejected by his own party’s national leadership, he has turned the Radisson Hotel in Agu Awka into a political marketplace.
“The price for a willing person is Fifty Million Naira.
“He has already purchased four members of the State House of Assembly:
- Hon. Ike Augustine Onyekachukwu (Ike Edoji) (YPP, Nnewi North): A man who campaigned for APGA senator, Emma Nwachukwu (Onodu Ugo) in Nnewi and praised Soludo’s government until his request for funds was denied. Seeing his political career at a dead end, he has now cashed out in the APC.
- Hon. Patrick Udoba (APGA, Anambra West): A failed two-term member – a motor park tout, currently on the run from his constituents after collecting over N200 million for phantom constituency projects. He is now hiding in Ukachukwu’s camp knowing he won’t be returned for a third term.
- Paul Obu & Patrick Okafor (LP, Orumba North & Onitsha North 2): Failed legislators from a sinking party, denied automatic tickets in APGA as part of their demands. They jumped at the cash, abandoning the voters who elected them. They are aware they won’t be returned.
“This is a desperate rerun of Andy Uba’s failed 2021 strategy, where he bought seven federal legislators, 13 House members, and a deputy governor, Nkem Okeke, all from APGA. It failed then, and it will fail now.
“So, if you are from these constituencies, go to your dishonorable representative and ask for your share of the N50 million.
“They were paid N30 million upfront and are waiting for a balance of N20 million after November 8th. They have been scammed by a scammer!
“Governor Soludo told us this would happen. He said they would come with money—borrowed and stolen money.
“Our response should be clear: Take the money if they offer it, but on election day, VOTE APGA.
“Let their financial bankruptcy meet its match in our political resolve. Let’s prove that integrity cannot be bought and that the #SolutionContinues.”
Responding to claims that his “request for funds was denied”, Hon. Ike dared Soludo that “if they provide evidence of such request from me to Mr. Governor, I will be glad to resign”.
Taking to his social media handle, the lawmaker responding in a piece entitled “Setting the record straight”, stated:
” I am shocked Mr. Governor sanctioned this publication that accused me of asking him for money. Coming from the highest office in the land, I need to set the record straight.
“I am among the highest supporter of Mr. Governor in the 8th Assembly, and I started supporting him freely without asking for kobo.
“Barely two months into office, I was specifically instructed to do a press conference by my boss to address the Neni chieftaincy debacle, a copy of what Obi of Onitsha did was sent to me.
“After speaking with MG on the subject matter I refuse to join the chieftaincy brouhaha, and it cost my relationship with my former boss, and I still did not collect kobo.
“I think it’s time for the governor’s official handle to state how much I collected from MG to give APGA the kind of support I gave them since I was elected to office.
“Did I ask MG for a kobo?
“If the answer to the above is no, how come the official handle accused me of collecting from APC?
“The official handle further accused me of demanding for funds lately and I was denied as my reason for supporting another party”
“If they provide evidence of such request from me to Mr. Governor, I will be glad to resign.
“If [the] above never happened, how can the highest office in the land lie against the office that have given them every support to succeed?
“Please find a way to withdraw your false information and allow me [to] do what I think is the right thing in peace.”
He concluded with the “#Tinubu on your mandate we shall stand” APC mantra.
Speaking to Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) earlier in the day, Ike expressed anger that the Soludo government would pay him back in a such manner after all he did for them free of charge.
The spokesman to Governor Soludo, Mr. Christian Aburime, was contacted for his reaction but he has yet to respond at the moment of this publication.
