Njikoka Mayor Reaffirms Commitment To Enugwu-Agidi Market Development

The Local Government Chairman of Njikoka, Barr. Chinedu Ononiba has
reassured Enugwu-Agidi community of Anambra government’s readiness to revive the market project.
Angel Network News (ANN) reports that Ononiba while speaking at the September edition of the Enugwu-Agidi Central Executive Committee Meeting, held at the Secretariat, stated that practical steps are already in motion to revalidate and activate the market
The local government boss noted that it will significantly boost local commerce, create employment, and enhance the economic development of not just Enugwu-Agidi but the entire Njikoka LGA.
However, the Mayor emphasized his administration’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote growth, unity, and progress within communities under his jurisdiction.
The meeting, which was presided over by the President General of Enugwu-Agidi Brotherly Union (EBU), Hon. Chukwuebuka Onuorah had earlier received the presence of HRM Igwe Michael Chidozie Okekeuche and members of his royal cabinet.
One of the key issues discussed was the Enugwu-Agidi International Market, which has been dormant for years.
