“Wake me up” – Ijoba Lande loses it as Davido posts his comedy skit amid wife’s cheating scandal

Nigerian comedian Ganiyu Morufu popularly known as Ijoba Lande was overwhelmed with excitement after Afrobeats superstar Davido featured a clip of him in an Instagram story.

The video, originally a comedic skit, showed Lande humorously declaring in Yoruba that he does not need motivation.

Davido’s post quickly gained traction, turning the clip into a viral meme. Fans were thrilled to see the singer acknowledge the skit maker, but no one was more ecstatic than Lande himself.

A video capturing his reaction showed him stepping out of his car in the middle of a busy road, screaming and running around in sheer excitement.

At one point, he dramatically collapsed on the ground, still in disbelief over the recognition.

Sharing the moment on social media, Lande wrote:

“@davido post me… is this a dream??? If I’m sleeping, please wake me up… Ori Ade! Baba Imade.”

His viral moment comes amid ongoing controversy, as rumors have surfaced alleging that his wife was involved in a cheating scandal with Nollywood actor Baba Tee and several other men.
