Adeleke denies claims of service disruption in education, health sectors |

The Osun State Government, on Monday issued a rebuttal, insisting that the health and education sectors as well as social services remain uninterrupted in all local governments in the state.
This comes in reaction to claims circulating on some media platforms alleging the shutdown of health, education, and social services across the state’s 30 local government areas.
In a statement titled “Local Social Services and Governance Unimpeded Across Osun State,” signed by Olawale Rasheed, Spokesperson to the Governor, the administration described the claims as “fake news from merchants of falsehood.”
The government urged the public to disregard the reports, affirming that schools and health centers remain fully operational with high community patronage.

“Amidst recent misinformation from the opposition, it is important to inform the public that social services in health, education, and social documentation are being rendered seamlessly across the 30 local governments and the Area Council of Osun State.
“Local schools and health centres are operating effectively and efficiently with local patronage at an all-time high.
“Governor Ademola Adeleke recently visited some health centres and actually met two instances of successful child births at Telemu and Ido Osun,” the statement read in parts.
“If such local services are truly shut down, how come they were open and operating when those illegal impostors conducted their comedic visitations?” it queried.
The government called on the public to disregard misinformation, reaffirming Adeleke’s dedication to good governance.
