Nigerian businesswoman, Aisha Achimugu, who is currently wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), over alleged criminal conspiracy and money laundering is reportedly hiding in Grenada.
Grenada is an island nation located in the eastern Caribbean Sea, part of the West Indies, and is known as the “Isle of Spice”.
A former presidential spokesman and publisher of Point-blank news, Mr. Ude Jackson, while quoting insider sources, revealed that Achimugu before she was declared wanted by the anti-graft agency, left the United Kingdom (UK) where she had been hiding for weeks to Grenada.

He said Achimugu obtained Grenadian citizenship through investment and she is very close to the Prime Minister of Grenada, Honourable Dickon Mitchell.
According to Jackson Ude, Achimugu facilitated the meeting of the Prime Minister with Governor Sanwo-Olu in October 2024.
He said, “Aisha Sulaiman Achimugu, Governor Jide Sanwo-Olu’s side chick, is hiding in the Island nation of Grenada. Achimugu, according to insiders, left the United Kingdom, UK, where she had been hiding for weeks now to Grenada.

“She facilitated the meeting of the Prime Minister with the Governor Sanwo-Olu in October 2024.
“In January 2024, Sanwo-olu was in Grenada celebrating Achimugu’s birthday. After several denials, I posted photos and videos of the two lovers in Grenada.
“Sanwo-Olu had claimed he went to Grenada on an official visit but video evidence confirmed he was in the Island Nation to celebrate with his side chick.
“The scandal earned the Lagos Governor the nickname “SanwoKpekus,” after it emerged he bankrolled the Grenada birthday party of Ms. Achimugu whose husband was the first Nigerian to die of the Covid-19.”
