All Progressives Congress Receives New Members In Anambra

The Anambra chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been boosted by new members who joined the party in Nnewi North, Local Government Area of the state
Anambra APC has been consistent in attracting new members into its fold, even as the State Governorship election draws nearer.
Angel Network News (ANN) reports that
during the meeting of the APC ward one Nnewichi Nnewi, notable figures declared for the party, affirming that the APC is their preferred political party.
The meeting, which was held at the Obi Nnewichi Palace, was chaired by the APC Nnewichi Ward one chairman, Mr. Emmanuel Nnodu.
Other members of the ward and local government leaders were also in attendance, including Mr. Oliver Uzodimma.
Mr. Obiora Osigwe, a top figure in the community and a successful businessman in Nnewi, was received in the party and issued with his party membership card.
Declaring for the APC, Mr. Osigwe said that he was not wronged by APGA or by anyone, but that APC is his preferred political party and therefore, he decided to join the party.
“I am happy to be here. I was not wronged by APGA or anyone. But I have looked at all the parties, and I like APC, and that is why I decided to join the party,” Osigwe said.
Similarly, new party members, Dr. Tochukwu Nnamdi and Dr. Cheta Okeke, joined the meeting and were well-received.
Other new members are Uzochukwu Chukwuma, a former chieftain of the YPP in Nnewi. For him, the APC is the party of now and of the future; therefore, he made up his mind to join the party. Mr. Anthony Obili, also declared to join the party and was similarly admitted.
Mr. Elochukwu Onuegbuna, a popular MC in Nnewi, also joined the party. Making his intention known to members during the meeting, he observed that as an individual, he would be more disposed to give special privileges to his close friends than strangers.
This, he said, also applies to politics, and he reasoned, this is how the ruling national party sees it as well. Mrs. Ngozi Udegbuna was equally admitted into the party and expressed joy in her membership and readiness to work for the party.
