Ruben Amorim is poised to welcome back several absentees when Manchester United return to action next week.
While they’re mostly viewed as a nuisance every time they roll around, March’s international break has allowed United’s injured players to undergo some much-needed rehabilitation without feeling as though they’re missing out on helping the team.
Tuesday’s game may still come too soon for some Reds, but the boss will likely have a few fresh faces ready to join his matchday squad at the City Ground in four days’ time.
Today, Leny Yoro, Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire were all spotted taking part in the morning’s training session at Carrington, while Mason Mount, who hasn’t played since last December, and Altay Bayindir were also involved.

Bayindir resumes United training after two-month layoff
Bayindir’s most recent outing came in a 2-0 Europa League group-stage win over FCSB in January. Earlier that month, he oversaw his most emphatic display as a United player during the side’s FA Cup third-round triumph over Arsenal.
The shot-stopper denied Martin Odegaard from the spot in regular time before also rebuffing Kai Havertz’s effort in the penalty shootout, all but ensuring the Reds’ progression to the next round.
“He’s a good guy. He works a lot, and life has beautiful things,” said Amorim of Bayindir post-match. “A few weeks ago, we were suffering through a difficult moment, but now he’s like a hero for us.”
It remains to be seen how much the ‘keeper will be utilised in the latter stage of the campaign due to United’s cup exit. He has yet to feature in the Premier League but may be called upon if Andre Onana’s form continues to falter.
Nonetheless, there’s a general belief that Bayindir will complete a move away from Old Trafford in the summer. He is adamant about securing regular game time in order to boost his chances of being Turkey’s No.1 at the 2026 World Cup, and you can’t really blame him for that.
