Amad Diallo spotted training at Carrington in huge United boost

Manchester United fans have been granted a much-welcome fitness update out of Carrington this afternoon.
If there’s one way for the Old Trafford faithful to heal from Sunday’s dismal loss at the hands of Newcastle United, it’s seeing their star boy stepping up his injury rehabilitation.
Today, Amad Diallo is doing exactly that, as the livewire winger is shown being put through his paces on the training pitch in newly-released footage doing the rounds on social media.

Amad last featured for the club in a 2-0 defeat to Crystal Palace at the start of February, after which it was confirmed that he had sustained an ankle injury and would be out for the foreseeable future.
Ruben Amorim initially expected the forward had played his final game of 2024/2025, before later suggesting he’d feature in the closing stages of the campaign – filling supporters with some optimism that there could be an upturn in results when Amad was back in the fold.
The 22-year-old had been enjoying a career-best top-flight season prior to his untimely layoff, having notched nine goals and eight assists in all competitions. Some of his goals proved game-changing, such as his late winner at the Etihad against Manchester City, his 12-minute hat-trick to complete a full turnaround over Southampton and a leveller at Anfield.
12 of Amad’s contributions came in the 20 appearances he made under Amorim, who finally granted him the starting role he deserved after months of being bizarrely cast aside by Erik ten Hag.
