Anambra 2025: ANCISRO Intensifies Mobilisation For Voter Registration

The Anambra State Civic and Social Reformation Office (ANCISRO) has intensified its public sensitisation campaign across Awka, urging residents to seize the final opportunity to get registered.

Angel Network News (ANN) reports that
ANCISRO team, led by Managing Director, Sir. Chuka Nnabuife, while monitoring the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise, visited major registration centers including Demonstration Primary School, Commissioners’ Quarters, and Udeozo Primary School, where registration was observed to be slow but steady.

Residents at both centers appealed to INEC for an extension of the exercise and for more registration centers, lamenting the stress of having only one location in each ward.

The ANCISRO team further took the campaign to Ring Road Agu-Awka, Nkwo Amaenyi Market, Ziks Avenue, Eke Awka Market, Works Road, Dike Park, Kwata Market, Unizik Junction, and Aroma Junction, engaging the public directly on the importance of voter registration.

During the outreach, ANCISRO also informed the general public about the specific INEC registration venues designated in each of the 20 wards of Awka South Local Government Area, encouraging eligible voters to locate the centers closest to them and complete their registration without delay.

Nnabuife reiterated that the Permanent Voter Card (PVC) is the people’s power to determine leadership and governance, urging everyone to act before the window closes.

With just one week to the end of the exercise, awareness campaign is in line with ANCISRO’s mission to promote civic participation and social responsibility across Anambra State.
