Anambra Assembly Committee inspect Awgbu Mbaukwu Okpeze Ndiukwuenu Road

The Anambra State House of Assembly Committee on works has expressed satisfaction with the level of work done on Awgbu- Mbaukwu – Okpeze- Ndiukwuenu road
The Chairman ,House Committee on Works, Engineer Emmanuel Nwafor made this known when he led the committee members to an oversight function of the project.
The lawmaker said the Committee is at peace with the level and quality of work so far done on the 6. 2 kilometer road.
“The Governor Chukwuma Soludo led administration meant well for the people hence the re awarding of the contract to open up the area.
“Heavy duty machines are on site doing stabilization and earth work at the project site, this shows capacity and commitment by the contractor”, Engineer Nwafor noted.
The contractor handling the project, Mr Charles Akpan said the project has a life span of 18 months and that they have mobilized resources to site.
He noted that the entire communities have been very supportive , promising that the project will be delivered before the scheduled period.
