Anambra State House of Assembly at plenary on Tuesday, congratulates Prof. Chukwuma Soludo on his conferment of the award as ‘Governor of the year 2024″ by Sun Newspaper Newspaper.
Angel Network News (ANN) reports that
the member representing Aguata two Constituency, Hon. Tony Muobike who sponsored the motion, through order 10, rule 44 of the House, stated that Governor Soludo came into office with a promise to make Anambra State a livable, smart homeland where people will come to live, work, study, relax and enjoy.
” Anambra State has undoubtedly experienced extraordinary transformation in all aspects of development including infrastructure, economy, education, human capita! development and social welfare under the leadership of Prof. Chukwuma Soludo within the last three years.
“In recognition of these sterling achievements of Mr. Governor, the Sun Publishing conferred on him the Award of “Governor of the year 2024”.
” This award is a further testament to the visionary leadership of Governor Soludo and his dedication to excellence, prudence, due process, and unalloyed service to the people of Anambra State and Nigeria.
” Soludo within three years, has fulfilled his promise to ndi Anambra. He has displayed prudence in handling the resources of the state”. Muobike submitted.
Supporting the motion, Majority Leader, Hon. Ikenna Ofodeme, Hon. Obi Nweke (Anambra West) and Hon Anayo Okpalacke (Aguata One) in their separate submissions maintained that the award is well deserved considering the achievement and giants strides of Governor Chukwuma Soludo in three years.
Anambra Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze who presided plenary while congratulating Governor Soludo said the achievements are not accidental but as a result of hardwork and exceptional leadership skills.
The Speaker encouraged Governor Soludo to be consistent in his ideas in making Anambra a prosperous and livable homeland.
