APC’s Mission In Anambra Is To Return Governance To The People : Chukwuma

Frontline governorship aspirant for the November 8 gubernatorial election in Anambra State under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Sir Paul Chukwuma says the party’s mission is to return governance to the people, strengthen grassroots support, and integrate the state into national politics.
Angel Network News (ANN) reports that Sir Chukwuma while speaking in Awka, during the official commissioning of a new APC office by the party’s National Chairman, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, recently, stressed that no amount of blackmail will stop him from becoming the Governor of Anambra State on November 8.”
“I am contesting for governorship, but I cannot do so if the party is not in order. The APC is the vehicle that will take me to government house, and I need to fix it first. With your support, Mr. Chairman, we will defeat the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) government.
Chukwuma cautioned new members against sidelining long-standing party members, stating that fresh entrants should first understand the party’s structures before scrambling for its ticket.
He argued that while the party welcomes new members, they should not immediately seek to dominate, as doing so could destabilize the APC in Anambra and undermine the contributions of longstanding members.
“While we welcome our brothers into the party, they should not suppress us in our own house. You cannot join an existing party and claim to be the one giving it life. That is why our grassroots members are resisting such moves. That is why I stood up to give the party confidence.”
Sir Chukwuma also praised Ganduje’s leadership qualities, commending him for his fatherly role.
“Mr. Chairman some non-progressive elements wanted to prevent you from coming but you said no because you want to connect Anambra to the center. You walk your talk. We believe you. Your presence has strengthened us. You and the National Working Committee are keeping the flag flying”.
ANN gathered that Sir. Paul Chukwuma has been instrumental in strengthening the APC in Anambra. He facilitated Ganduje’s visit to the state, personally rented the new party office for two years, furnished it, and made similar contributions across various local government areas. He also donated hundred (₦100) million to the APC Consultative Council in Abuja and procured a brand-new bus for the party’s youth wing.
