Hon. Ejeh Udeh, a leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State, was assassinated by armed bandits at his home in Ugboju, Otukpo, late Monday night. The assailants, who arrived on a motorcycle, ambushed him in front of his family.
Witnesses report Udeh was entering his residence when the bandits opened fire. His body has since been taken to Otukpo General Hospital morgue.
As of this report, the Benue State Police Command has not officially confirmed the killing or given any details about possible motives or suspects.
