Buhari Seized My Daughter’s Salary For Four Years Because I Criticised Him – Buba Galadima

Buba Galadima of the New Nigeria Peoples Party says he has nothing to show for working for former President Muhammadu Buhari after 13 years. He also accused Mr Buhari of withholding his daughter’s salaries for four years after he criticised his administration.
Speaking on AIT Wednesday evening, Mr Galadima said Mr Buhari deliberately withheld his daughter’s pay as retaliation for his outspoken criticism of his regime.
“Me that I worked for Buhari for 13 years, for 13 years and my daughter worked for him for four years, he instructed that she should not be paid salaries,” Mr Galadima said.
“She worked for Nigeria for free,” the NNPP chief stressed, noting that his daughter was posted to former Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo’s office.
He dared Mr Buhari or anyone else to come forward with bank receipts to fact-check his statements.
Garba Shehu, the spokesman for the former president, did not immediately respond to requests seeking comments on Mr Galadima’s claims.
Mr Galadima said President Bola Tinubu was nothing like his predecessor and praised him for providing jobs to his two daughters after they called the Nigerian leader on his mobile phone.
“She looked for job. She wanted to get a job there (NUPRC). They couldn’t give her. So two of them, one of them is a medical doctor and senior sister, no work. So they(two daughters) scrolled to my phone and saw the president’s phone number and called Mr President and he picked the phone thinking that it was me. They said they are my children and calling (sic) him because country hard (sic).
“The little one said she just finished NYSC and she couldn’t get a job in the upstream something (NUPRC) headed by (Gbenga) Komolafe,” Mr Galadima said in his narration of the event that led to his daughter’s new job at the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission.
He added, “He (Tinubu) just asked Komolafe ‘Go and give my friend’s daughter a job’.”
The NNPP chieftain said his daughter intended to travel to Mecca to thank God for her new position.
Mr Galadima said his daughter’s experience paled in comparison to his experience working under Mr Buhari, given that the quality of his life did not improve despite working for him for 13 years.
