Chukwuma Donates Transformer To Anambra Community

Sir. Paul Chukwuma, the candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) in the November 8, 2025 governorship election, has donated and installed transformer in Udabor community in Umueri, Anambra East Local Government Area of the state.

Angel Network News (ANN) reports that
Chukwuma while speaking during the commissioning over the weekend, said he bought the transformer for his leisure business, but on hearing the plight of the people, he released it to the community immediately.

According to the YPP governorship candidate, “seeing the joy the new transformer brought to the men and women, young and old members of the community, it reminded me what it may takes to fix communities within reach.

“We commissioned a transformer I donated and installed for use in Udabor community, Umueri. Only a few months ago, I bought this transformer for my leisure business in Anambra State.

“But around the same time, I was informed that Udabor community has been without light for years because the community’s transformer had been bad for a long time without remedy. At that moment, I decided to donate and install the transformer for use at Udabor.

“Seeing the joy the new transformer brought to the men and women, young and old members of the community, I was again reminded what it may take to fix our communities is within our reach.”

Speaking to journalists, a community leader, Mr. Sunday Ogbuefi, expressed delight over the development, saying that since their transformer became bad, all appeals to the authorities had yielded nothing, describing Chukwuma as a true leader.

Ogbuefi said the transformer is a big relief to the community, as commercial and economic activities will bounce back again and social life will return to the community.

“It was painful seeing light in communities around us at nights, but our area was in total darkness. For months, we had no electricity because our transformer spoilt and this affected economic, commercial and social activities in the area.

“We thank Sir Paul Chukwuma for bringing relief and succour to us by donating this transformer to the community,” he stated.
