Danagogo Wanted to Be Governor, He Was Pained We Didn’t Give Him, He Will Lead You to Hellfire- Wike

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory and former Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has blamed the ongoing political crisis in Rivers State on the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Tammy Danagogo.
In a video shared by TVC News, Wike accused Danagogo of orchestrating the crisis by using his brother Justice Danagogo to secure a controversial court order that deepened the political divide in the state.
“Let me tell you this, look at the problem. Who started this problem? Let me tell you so you know. Danagogo, Secretary to the Government. What they did, he went and used his senior brother, Justice Danagogo. Justice Danagogo sat down, under Ex-parte order, and said 27 members have defected,” Wike stated.
He alleged that Danagogo influenced his brother to grant an order that allowed the Rivers State government to present the state budget to a few legislators, bypassing the majority.
“Secretary to the Government lured his brother judge to give an Ex-parte order that the government can present the budget to three, four people.
Now look at how people can destroy a state. That’s the genesis of all this crisis,” Wike added.
The former governor further claimed that Danagogo, who had aspirations to become governor, was behind Fubara’s actions and was misleading him.
“Look at Danagogo, who wanted to be governor. He was so pained that he was not given. He is the one following the governor, and this governor does not know. He will lead you to hellfire,” Wike warned.
The political crisis in Rivers State has escalated in recent months, with factions loyal to Wike and Fubara clashing over governance and legislative control.
