Drastic Measures Will Be Taken In Sanitizing Nimo Community: Youth Leader


Nimo Town Development Union (NTDU) Youth leader, Comrade Chidike Okwaji has appealed to members of the community to contribute their quota towards achieving a prosperous and livable environment.

Angel Network News (ANN) reports that Comrade Okwaji while speaking in a town hall meeting on Tuesday at the EgweEgwe auditorium, Nimo, frowned at the ills happening, warning that drastic measures will be appealed for Nimo to be sanitized.

The Youth Leader discourage cultism, deft, intimidation, land grabbing, reckless lifestyle, indecent dressing, drugs abuse amongst others, emphasizing that Nimo Community must be sanitized and safe but that Its a collective duty in achieving the goal.

On education, the Youth Leader warned students who roam about during school hours. “Henceforth, from 9:am, any student’s found  roaming around during school hours, will be dealt-with.

“All those involved in buying and selling of
scrab, iron condemn products should identify with the union.

“From investigations, most of the theft recorded in Nimo Community are committed by those roaming about gathering iron condemn, who are mostly strangers with questionable characters.

Comrade Okwaji blamed some parents for negligence, stated that charity begins at home. He challenged them to discourage idleness by pushing their children to be busy with their lives through being productive.

Okwaji kicked against cyber-crime, calling on parents who encourage or over-look their children who are into it, to repent.

According to the Youth Leader, parents have a bigger role to play in making sure that our youths are productive and law abiding citizens.
