Every Rivers Assembly Member Is Like a Beautiful Woman Contested by Two Rich Suitors-Shehu Sani

Human rights activist and former lawmaker representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District in the Upper Chamber of the National Assembly, Senator Shehu Sani, has taken to X (formerly known as Twitter), to indirectly react to the leadership crisis in Rivers State.

According to a post on the official X handle of Senator Shehu Sani, the former federal lawmaker said that every member of the Rivers State House of Assembly is like a beautiful woman courted and contested by two rich suitors. The bigwig of the main opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party said that the fate of the rich suitors is dependent on the loyalty of the House of Assembly members. Senator Shehu Sani’s post suggested that he was referring to Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike as the two rich suitors depending on the loyalty of the Rivers State House of Assembly.

Senator Shehu Sani had written, “Every Honorable Rivers Assembly member is like a beautiful woman courted and contested by two rich suitors, whose fate is dependent on her loyalty and love.”
