FG Reacts to KWAM 1’s Apology, Reveals Next Line of Action

The Federal Government has reacted to the recent apology by Fuji musician Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as K1 de Ultimate or KWAM 1.
Festus Keyamo, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, said the Nigerian government is yet to take a final decision on the matter.
Recall that KWAM 1 had attempted to disrupt a ValueJet aircraft from taking off in Abuja over claims of possessing an alcoholic beverage on board the aircraft.
Following this, the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority placed the musician on a six-month no-flight risk while the pilot of the aircraft was suspended pending the outcome of the investigation into the matter.
The musician’s letter apologised to the leadership of the aviation industry, the president and Nigerians over his unruly behaviour.
However, reacting to this, Keyamo said that while they have seen his video of the musician’s apology, the matter is still subject to official consideration.
“We have just seen this (apology) on social media like everyone else. We have not had the opportunity to deliberate on it,” the minister said.
