“He Doesn’t Know How to Explain What He’s Feeling” – Ruben Amorim on Injury to Man United Star

Manchester United coach Ruben Amorim has expressed his concern over the injury sustained by teenage defender Ayden Heaven during the team’s 3-0 win over Leicester City on Sunday, according to Sportskeeda. Heaven, who made his first Premier League start for the Red Devils, was forced off the pitch in the 51st minute after a collision with Patson Daka.

Amorim revealed in his post match press conference (via Sky Sports), that Heaven is still struggling to come to terms with the extent of his injury, saying that the young defender “doesn’t know how to explain what he’s feeling.” The Manchester United coach also stated that the team will have to assess the injury during the week to determine the full extent of the damage.

“He’s a young kid, he doesn’t know how to explain what he’s feeling, so it’s hard for us to know something,” Amorim said. “He’s a bit more calm now, but we have to assess during the week. But he’s doing a great job and it’s a shame if he has something for quite a long time. We wish him all the best.”

Heaven’s injury is a blow to Manchester United, who have been relying on the young defender in recent matches. The team’s victory over Leicester City was their second win in a row, and they will be looking to build on this momentum when they return from the international break.

Manchester United’s next match is against Nottingham Forest on April 1, and Amorim will be hoping that Heaven will be fit and available for selection. However, the team’s medical staff will have to assess the injury carefully to determine the best course of action.
