“How I Was Kicked Out and Left in the Cold for Prophesying in a Church in Bremen” – Johnson Suleman

Apostle Johnson Suleman, the founder and senior pastor of Omega Fire Ministries International, recently shared a personal experience at the Recovery Conference, recounting how he was kicked out of a church in Bremen, Germany, for prophesying.
Speaking at the event, he explained that he had been invited to preach at a church but was unaware that prophesying was unwelcome there. “I never knew it was a crime to prophesy. They liked talk-just come and give a good message, motivation,” he said.
During his sermon, he prophesied over a man, which immediately caused an uproar in the congregation. “The place went wild. Everybody was angry; everybody was upset. I prophesied on the second person, and I never knew they were the untouchables,” he recounted.
As a result, he was thrown out of the church that night and left stranded. “They kicked me out of the church and left me in the cold,” he said, emphasizing that he had no means of transportation and had to endure the night outside.
A Nigerian man in the congregation, who had attended his meetings in Nigeria, later found him and expressed shock at how he was treated. “What you said is correct, but we don’t need that here. Go!” the man told him before helping him.
Reflecting on the incident, Apostle Suleman said the Lord later revealed to him why it had happened. “The Lord said, ‘Son, prepare to go back to Bremen. That is why I made that happen.'”
He concluded by acknowledging the challenges he faced when he began prophesying but expressed gratitude that God’s work is now flourishing.
