I have no sympathy for Fubara; he created the network for Wike; they are partners in crimes-Sowore

Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate for the African Action Congress (AAC) in the 2023 election, has weighed in on the political struggle in Rivers State.

I have no sympathy for Fubara; he created the network for Wike; they are partners in crimes-Sowore

The political crisis rocking Rivers State, which was said to have emanated from the feud between the state’s governor, Siminalayi Fubara, and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike, took a different turn after the Supreme Court gave a verdict, restricting the Central Bank of Nigeria from disbursing the Rivers State allocations.

In a swift turn of events, the president of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, announced a state of emergency in Rivers state.

However, during an interview with Arise News, Omoyele Sowore expressed no sympathy for Governor Fubara, noting that the governor was the one who provided the network that his predecessor used in exercising impunity in Rivers State.

He also described the minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, and Governor Siminalayi Fubara as partners in crime.

According to the video, “I have no sympathy for Siminalayi Fubara; he was the one who provided the network for Wike to carry out the impunity and corruption he did in Rivers State before he left for Abuja, so they are partners in crime.”
