“Social media has made things very easy for artiste. It’s no longer like back in our days when the only way too get your music out there was through CDs or or the Radio. Right now, not every artiste needs a record label. If you’re smart enough and have a good management that knows how to make good use of social media, you can become the biggest artiste in the world. Like me right now, I cannot longer sign any record deal that won’t benefit the next generation of African artiste. So what I’m tryna say is, instead of begging in people’s DMs to sign you, put yourself out there through social media and those people you’re begging will be the ones to come to you.” Wizkid
