I'm Not Interested in Negotiating with the Islamic Republic. I Don't Trust Them- Pierre Poilievre

According to Iran International, Pierre Poilievre, the leader of Canada’s Conservative Party, has firmly rejected any prospect of engaging with the Iranian government, citing deep mistrust. “I’m not interested in negotiating with the Islamic Republic. I don’t trust them. I think they are liars,” Poilievre stated, making his stance on Tehran’s leadership unmistakably clear.

Poilievre has consistently criticized Iran, describing it as “the most dangerous sponsor of terror anywhere in the world.” His rejection of diplomatic talks is rooted in the belief that Tehran cannot be trusted. “They’ll promise anything to get their oil and gas back on the world market,” he asserted, warning against Iran’s history of unfulfilled commitments and deceptive diplomacy.

Beyond his words, Poilievre has pledged to take decisive action against individuals tied to the Iranian regime residing in Canada. He has vowed to deport non-citizens or non-permanent residents linked to the Islamic Republic, reinforcing his commitment to safeguarding Canadian sovereignty and national security. His unwavering position reflects a hardline foreign policy approach, particularly against regimes accused of supporting terrorism and undermining democratic values.
