Juventus make ‘concrete steps’ in pursuit of Rasmus Hojlund

After conceding defeat in their pursuit of resurgent Red Joshua Zirkzee, Juventus have set their sights on another Manchester United frontman.
Indeed, the Italian giants are well aware that Ruben Amorim now views Zirkzee as an integral cog to the project he’s building at Old Trafford, with his season-ending injury setback coming as a substantial and untimely blow for United back in April.
One player who’s perhaps not considered off-limits, however, is Zirkzee’s forward counterpart, Rasmus Hojlund.
Why United are willing to sanction Hojlund’s exit

A considerable lack of options in attack for the best part of Amorim’s tenure has led to the Dane cementing his place as a starter, despite his form leaving a lot to be desired in his sophomore campaign. In the Premier League this term, Hojlund has found the back of the net only four times in 29 appearances.
He has scored five times in 13 Europa League appearances, but failed to open his account in both the FA Cup and Carabao Cup. Overall, fans have been well within their rights to demand significantly more from their £72 million acquisition.
Juventus ready to offer Hojlund a return to Serie A
There is a possibility that Hojlund’s United tenure is cut short prematurely this summer, just two years after his mega-money move from Atalanta.
INEOS are actively scouring the market for a new No.9 in hopes of putting a definitive end to the side’s woes in front of goal, and there will be at least one suitor waiting in the wings to see if a deal can come to fruition.
According to CalcioMercato, Juventus have made ‘concrete steps’ in their plans to sign Hojlund. Sporing Director Cristiano Giuntoli has ‘initiated initial contacts’ to try and begin negotiations for a summer transfer, while reports in England also claim the 22-year-old could be offloaded if INEOS’ valuations are met.
In turn, they’re said to have set their sights on Ipswich Town talisman Liam Delap to lead the line from 2025/2026.
