A viral TikTok post captures the story of a Nigerian man who allegedly purchased a stolen iPhone 14 from a mallam for just ₦20,000 and attempted to resell it for ₦150,000.
In the video, the man recounts his side of the story, explaining that after acquiring the phone, he took it to the market to sell.
He initially set his asking price at ₦150,000, but the buyer negotiated it down to ₦110,000.
However, when the buyer questioned him about the phone’s origin, he admitted to lying about its source.
