Man United desperately need a replacement of striker Rasmus Hojlund

It was another poor result for Manchester United in the Premier League today.

The Red Devils lost against Wolves at Old Trafford which basically secured their stay in the Premier League.

Wolves were impressive in the second half against United with Ruben Amorim’s side once again failing to finish the chances they created.

Rasmus Hojlund missed crucial chances to score for United and it became clear why a new striker is needed at Old Trafford.

As per Sofascore, Hojlund got a rating of 6.5/10 and he lost possession of the ball 6 times. His passing percentage was only 63%.

He made no key passess and only had 14 touches in a home match which should have been a comfortable one for United but ended up in a 1-0 loss.

The Denmark international striker has only scored one goal in his last 27 matches for the club.

For any club in the world, that’s a poor record let alone at a club like Man United.

Replacing him in the summer transfer window should be the club’s priority and a new striker is desperately needed at the club.

Jamie O’Hara was critical of the attacker on Sky Sports News for missing a crucial chance against Wolves and called him ‘not good enough’.

The only positive United can take from this match is that we are officially safe from relegation in the Premier League this season.

The club must have a plan in mind to replace Hojlund this summer and it is not a surprise to see them target a move for new strikers.

Hojlund has been given enough chances and playing time at the club to prove himself but he has failed miserably.

He is not good enough to play for the Red Devils and his numbers prove that.
