Man United plotting moves for brilliant teenagers Kana-Biyik & Bafdili

Manchester United are reportedly plotting moves for two of the most exciting wonderkids in European football.

The Red Devils will certainly address the most glaring issues in their squad come the summer. They are keen to sign a new striker whose identity remains unclear, and perhaps pair him with Matheus Cunha who has now emerged as a serious candidate to fill the Number 10 role.

Moreover, the management is simultaneously working on adding top talent to their youth ranks.

According to CentreDevils, Man Utd are making concrete moves to land Enza Kana-Biyik. The 18-year-old has been linked with a move to Carrington in recent days, and the source confirms that the club directors have already made contact with the player’s representatives.

The striker is widely considered one of the best rising stars in France. He has been climbing the ranks at Le Havre, currently representing their U19 side. He has scored nine goals and provided an assist in 15 appearances this season.

The Premier League giants are expected to launch a concrete offer for the teenager in the coming days, explains the report.

On a related note, the same source reveals that United are also interested in Zaid Bafdili, a 17-year-old midfielder deemed as one of the ‘most promising’ teenagers in Europe.

The Belgian-Moroccan started his career at Anderlecht’s academy before moving to Mechelen. He has been developing his game at Genk since 2023.

The 17-year-old is described as a ball-winning defensive midfielder who likes to bring the ball forward. This sounds like a profile that the Reds need, especially with Casemiro reaching the twilight of his career and potentially heading towards the exit door.

The report notes that, unlike Kana-Biyik’s case, Man Utd have yet to contact Bafdili’s entourage, but there could be some development on this front in the coming weeks.
