Man Utd star Amad Diallo reveals when he’ll return to action

Manchester United might be able to count on Amad Diallo sooner rather than later, at least based on his most recent social media hint.
The 22-year-old was almost a forgotten figure during Erik ten Hag’s reign at Old Trafford, but has been an absolutely fundamental piece in Ruben Amorim’s jigsaw.
The Portuguese tactician has been deploying the Ivorian as a right-attacking midfielder in his 3-4-2-1 system, and the latter has already repaid the manager’s trust with a series of brilliant displays, with the most memorable coming in the Manchester Derby against Man City when he turned the tide upside down in the final minutes. After the contest, his teammate Bruno Fernandes hailed him as ‘unstoppable’.
But sadly for Amad, an ankle injury suffered in mid-February derailed his momentum. At the time, many feared the winger’s season could be over.
Nevertheless, there have been more encouraging updates in recent weeks, and the player has now boosted these reports with a delightful post on his Snapchat account.
Amad Diallo hints at comeback

The Ivory Coast international dropped an image of himself on the pitch donning the Man Utd jersey, while adding an egg timer and a smiley face. Needless to say, this can be easily interpreted as a hint of an imminent return to the pitch.
So while neither the player nor the club have offered a recent injury update, Man Utd fans can now be hopeful of a comeback in the coming weeks.
At this stage of the season, the Red Devils have little to play for on the domestic level, as they reside in a disappointing 13th place in the Premier League title and have already been eliminated from the FA Cup. Nevertheless, they still have a Europa League quarter-final to negotiate with Lyon, as this competition represents their only viable path towards the Champions League next season.
