The Chairman of Njikoka Local Government Area, Hon. Chinedu Ononiba
has officially hand over the newly constructed “Solution Corpers Lodge” to
the National Youths Service Corps (NYSC).
Angel Network News (ANN) reports that Barr. Ononiba who was represented by his Deputy, Hon. Fidelia Okafor, in her remarks stated that the handover of the “Solution Corpers Lodge” is a key step in enhancing the living conditions of the youth-serving in Njikoka.
” This initiative reflects the ongoing commitment of the Njikoka Local Government Council to improving the welfare of the NYSC members and fostering community development.
“This event showcases the collaborative efforts of local government officials and the community in supporting the nation’s youth and creating a more conducive environment for them to thrive during their service years’. The Deputy Mayor said.
In their separate speeches, NYSC Anambra State Coordinator, Mrs. Blessing Iruma, and Mr. Ernest Mbom, the Njikoka NYSC Inspector, express their immense gratitude for the hospitality shown by Ndi Njikoka.
They praised the local government for providing such comfortable accommodation for the corps members, which will undoubtedly contribute to their welfare and successful service year.
Other local government officials present at the event included the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Prince Chidolue John Nwankwo; Hon. Izuchukwu Ugokwe, the Supervisory Councillor for Environment; Hon. Ifeanyi Aghamba, Njikoka Legislative Chief Whip; Engr. Austine Emeka, HOD Works; and Engr. Francis Obidike PhD.
ANN recall that the lodge was built under the leadership of the immediate past (TC) Chairman of Njikoka Local Government, Amb. Clem Aguiyi, and was commissioned by the Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
