Muoemenam Emerges President General Of Umuoji Community

Chief Ifeanyichukwu Muoemenam has emerged as President General of Umuoji in a transparent and peaceful election held at the Communities Secretariat.

Muoemenam and his executives officers has been elected to pilot the affairs of Umuoji Improvement Union of Nigeria,
The newly elected PG secured two hundred and forty-three (243) votes in the election that had a total of two hundred and ninety-two (292) delegates.
Speaking after the election, Chief Muoemenam expressed gratitude to the people of Umuoji for the confidence reposed in him, and pledged to promote peace, unity and progress in the community as the President General.
Others elected executives include Chudi Chikelu; first Vice President General, Chief Emeka Egbueh; second Vice President General, Engr. Peter Okafor; Secretary General, Sir Abuchi Onwumelu; National Publicity Secretary/Public relations Officer, among others.
Regent of Umuoji community, Chief Christopher Nnedu, who graced the occasion, congratulated the newly elected officers and urged them to embrace inclusiveness, transparency and selfless service to the community.
Speaking, Chairman of the electoral board, Chief Obinna Nwachukwu, commended the peaceful conduct of the election, described it as a reflection of the unity and democratic spirit of Umuoji, and lauded both contestants and voters for their maturity and cooperation.
