Napoli want to sell Utd-linked Osimhen ASAP

A large selection of Manchester United fans are hoping this will finally be the summer they ignite their pursuit of Victor Osimhen.
Osimhen to the Red Devils is a transfer link that dates back a good few years now, primarily because the side has flagrantly struggled in front of goal for essentially the last decade.
Yet, United have never gone as far as actually making a formal approach or submitting a bid for the forward. The forthcoming window perhaps poses as their best opportunity yet.
That’s because Napoli will be offloading Osimhen as soon as he returns from his season-long spell with Galatasaray following a fiery fall-out with Antonio Conte last summer, which resulted in the pair’s relationship completely breaking down.
It’s unlikely the Turkish outfit will have the funds available to make his deal permanent, and there was no clause of the sort included in his terms when he made the switch last September, meaning negotiations would have to take place between all parties.
The latest on Osimhen’s future, according to the experts

There’s a chance Saudi Arabian sides will return for the player after his transfer to the Middle East collapsed, with Saudi Pro League clubs more than capable of making Osimhen the most lucrative proposals of any teams in Europe.
Earlier this week, transfer expert David Ornstein claimed the ‘consensus’ among Osimhen’s Premier League suitors is that his ‘most likely destination is Saudi’.
At the time of his departure to Istanbul, the 26-year-old did sign a one-year contract extension to keep him tied to Napoli until June 2027. As such, they will have the upper hand in any talks that take place in the coming months.
Fabrizio Romano also provided a brief update on YouTube in recent days, saying: “Al Ahli almost agreed on a deal to sign Osimhen a year ago before everything collapsed due to Napoli, not the player.
“It is important to see what happens. Osimhen still wants his salary guaranteed, which will be a key factor. Timing will also be crucial, as Napoli want to sell him as soon as possible to raise funds and reinvest — that is their goal.”
