Njikoka Local Government has emerge 1st Position in the 2025 Cultural Exhibition Competition among the 21 LGA’s in Anambra State.
Angel Network News (ANN) reports that Njikoka emerged top at the event as part of activities marking the 2025 Local Government Service Week.
The award was officially presented to the Mayor of Njikoka, Barr. Chinedu Ononiba, by the Head of Local Government Administration, Mr. Martin Obimbekwe, during a brief but joyful ceremony at the Council Secretariat, Abagana.
In addition to the cultural win, Mr. Obimbekwe also announced that Njikoka LGA was rated among the Top three Local Governments in Anambra State in terms of performance, coordination, and service delivery, an affirmation of the collective hard work of the council’s leadership and workforce.
Hon. Ononiba, in his remarks, dedicated both recognitions to the people of Njikoka and thanked the staff of the council for their continued loyalty and dedication.
The local government boss expressed appreciation to Governor Chukwuma Soludo for providing the enabling environment that drives excellence at the grassroots.
The Mayor further reaffirmed his commitment to sustaining progressive development and promoting the cultural heritage of the people.
