NTDU Executives Explains ‘Anambra Homeland Security Law’ To Ndi Nimo

The President General (PG) of Nimo Town Development Union (NTDU), Engr. Dan Zeelunjo Anakpe has commended members of the community, for their support so far.
Zeelunjo appealed for continues support assuring that his executives are all out to transform Nimo. He warned those sponsoring and planting the seed of disunity to repent from such act, assuring that the names of the mischief makers will be publish in due course.

Anakpe while speaking in a town hall meeting on Tuesday at the EgweEgwe Square, stated that Governor Chukwuma Soludo has issued a new directive based on the Anambra Homeland Security law passed by the state House of Assembly.
” “Agunechemba and Operation Udo Ga-Achi have been inaugurated and are ready to implement Anambra Homeland Security law to the fullest.
“The aims of the security outfit is to purge the state of criminality and evil native doctors, sorcerers, and idolaters who prepare Oke-Ite and similar potions and charms; those native doctors who prepare Odeshi, which gives the criminals dutch (foolish) courage with which they commit robberies, kidnapping, and other violent crimes.
” After the meeting with the Anambra state government, it was resolved that the Chairman of all Security outfit in communities is now the President General”. The PG said.
“As the Chairman of security, Nimo must be sanitized. We have started re-organization of our security architecture so that we can tackle the challenges confronting us. I call on all to support us in achieving this goal in sanitizing our environment”.
Zeelunjo frowned at the distractors of his administration, stating that after his executives were sacked, they appealed and that the case is still in court.
” We went to Neni high court and judgement was given that removed the entire NTDU executive, as law abiding citizens, we accepted and agreed and filled an appeal on the 19th of December.
Am still the recognized PG of Nimo. We will no longer allow imposition”.
Also speaking, First Vice-President, NTDU Comrade Chigbo Anaedobe maintained that security is everybody’s business, and that all hands must be on deck to sanitize Nimo.
“Within seven days, all native doctors and non-indigenes will be documented in accordance with the directives of Anambra State government.
” In accordance with the resolution of the State government, all native doctors should come out and be certified. We will do a data collection of all of them so that we will regulate their activities and practices.
” Every landlord should enroll their tenants for documentation”. Anaedobe said.
Speaking of public display of Sacrifice, Anaedobe frown at the attitude of ndi Nimo on that regard, warning that hence forth, anyone cought making open/indescriminate sacrifices, will be arrested.
“Henceforth, no more road and river sacrifice.
“All hotel owners are requested to register the customers.
” Nimo land dispute and management committee have been created. The Chairman of the committee is Mr. Joseph Onwuyalu and Pastor Iyke Obiji is the Secretary. All land related matters and transactions, will be handled by them.
” All land agents in Nimo must identify with the committee to avoid fraudulent transactions.
“Henceforth, their must be issuing of clearance before any announcement in Nimo. Failure to do so, the announcer will pay fine of fifty thousand before arrest.
“The essence of the clearance is to know the content and purpose of the announcement, before broadcasting any messages
” No more drinking in beer parlour from 7:am to 3:pm”. First Vice-President, NTDU said.
Second National Vice President General of NTDU, QS Chidi Oduenyi, in his brief remark stated that Nimo is currently going through reform and urged all branches to work in unity of purpose.
Third National Vice President General of NTDU, Hon. Charles Ofodile in his address, warn those doing business at Nimo market to stop indescriminate waste disposal.
According to Ofodile, all shop owners must have waste bag. No more burning of waste. Clear your drainage. We will set up a task force who will implement all this rules and regulations.
NTDU Youth leader, Comrade Chidike Okwaji in his remark warned, stating that
no more petronage of illicit drugs.
“Nimo must be sanitized and safe. It is our collective duty to make sure we achieve this goal. I encourage all youths to be busy with their lives through being productive. Parents also have a role to play because charity begins at home.
Chairman Nimo Traditional Doctors, Mr. Paul Obganaikolobia while speaking said the association stands with the truth and that its practice are genuine because they were chosen by the gods of the land.
He revealed that all of its members vowed to practice in truth without compromise and that they are ready to abide by the rules and regulations of Anambra State government.
