(DDM) – Her Majesty Olori Atuwatse III, Queen Consort of the Warri Kingdom, is spearheading a landmark women’s leadership conference in Cape Coast, Ghana.

Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) gathered that the initiative, titled the Women Allying Women Conference, is scheduled for Thursday, September 4, 2025.

The gathering is designed to unite African women leaders across governance, business, education, and social transformation.

Organizers say the event is not ceremonial but a deliberate platform to strengthen women’s leadership for economic growth and social stability.

Olori Atuwatse III explained that the mission is to create enduring connections between women across borders and generations.

She emphasized that women have always played critical roles in building communities and must now be empowered to influence policies and economies.

Distinguished speakers expected at the conference include Ghana’s Minister for Tourism, Abla Dzifa Gomashie.

Other prominent figures are Queen Wa Arian Simone of Côte d’Ivoire and Mrs. Maame Efua Houadjeto, CEO of Ghana Tourism Authority.

The event, powered by Elevate Africa, will be held at Lush on the Coast in Cape Coast, Ghana.

According to the organizers, the conference embodies the Queen’s commitment to education, entrepreneurship, and empowerment.

It is expected to provide women with practical tools, mentorship opportunities, and access to influential networks.

Panel discussions will cover themes such as leadership in governance, financial inclusion, sustainable business, and cultural preservation.

Speakers are also scheduled to highlight the role of women in conflict resolution and peacebuilding.

Delegates from Nigeria, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, and other African nations are expected to participate.

Observers note that the event reflects a growing movement of African queens and women leaders collaborating to shape continental progress.

The Queen’s office disclosed that the initiative aligns with her broader advocacy for literacy programs, health awareness campaigns, and female entrepreneurship in Nigeria.

Many women in attendance are expected to share success stories and strategies for overcoming structural barriers.

The choice of Cape Coast is symbolic, as the city represents resilience, history, and the power of cultural identity.

Analysts say the gathering could mark the beginning of a stronger transnational women’s coalition.

Participants hope to produce a communiqué with actionable commitments for governments, private institutions, and communities.

Local and international media outlets are already describing the conference as a pioneering step for women’s solidarity in Africa.

Observers believe the outcomes of this conference could influence broader policy conversations across the continent.
