Osimhen is not irreplaceable – Turkish journalist accuses Super Eagles star of being sneaky with Galatasaray

Turkish journalist discussed Victor Osimhen’s continuation at Galatasaray.
Turkish journalist Cem Dizdar said that Victor Osimhen’s representatives are not being candid with Galatasaray concerning his future at the club.
The 26-year-old is on loan from Napoli and is set for a permanent move in the summer. The Cim-Bom are keen on acquiring his service permanently but will have to compete with top European clubs like Manchester United and Juventus, who are also interested.
What Dizdar said
The former Lille striker has always maintained his love for Galatasaray, evident in his decision to reject offers to remain at the club during the January transfer window. His representatives have also done the same.
Dizdar, a Super Lig journalist, believes that the refusal to explicitly express the desire to continue at the club suggests that they are hedging their bets. He went on to submit that Osimhen was not irreplaceable, citing the ability to bring him to the club in the first place as evidence that Galatasaray could replace him with someone else.
“Osimhen’s manager started talking too much. If a manager starts talking too much, there are other things,” he said, per GsGazette.
“He is hiding things that we are trying to see from us. The smell will come out soon anyway. Players like Osimhen suit big clubs like Galatasaray, but they always have to think of plan B.
“Nobody thought Osimhen would replace Icardi. But Galatasaray did. They will think of an alternative to Osimhen as well.”
As Pulse Sports reported, Juventus and Manchester United are the frontrunners in the race to sign Victor Osimhen. However, Chelsea, who reached advanced negotiations with the Nigerian last summer, could also return for his signature.
